Online bookings are set up for a minimum of 4 hours notice. For something urgent, please ring or send a text.
One time slot is for one person. For two people, please book two slots (one at a time).

Group or party bookings are available. They can be for sports, dance performances, birthday parties or any other social events.
Please note that mermaid braids take 30 minutes per head. Simpler styles are available to accomodate a bigger group for a short party if you wish.

They take between 45-100 minutes to do. Please indicate which # you want.
Note: #D, #E, #L ~ For 16yo and over, they are $10 extra.
#4-5, 8-9: the first price is for short/medium hair, the second price is for long hair. Additional $5 for extra long hair.
Long hair = over 60cm, measured from the front hair line to the longest strand.
Extra long hair = over 75cm
#10: for 16o & over, pls indicate in your booking, as it is likely to take over 30 minutes.

Q: What do I need to prepare for my appointment?
A: Wash your hair prior (can be the night before), and make sure you come with no knots on your hair. And Please Do Not Be Late. Each time slot is limited to 30 minutes, which is what it roughly takes to do the extension braids. So brushing out knots will eat up your allocated time, in which case I would have to either:
1. rush braiding your hair, and wouldn't do the job as well as I could, or:
2. ask you to choose the simplest style. During school holidays, when time slots are usually fully booked, I need to make sure I am finished with each client in 30 minutes or this will have a domino effect.
Q: Can I pay with Eftpost/Credit Card?
A: Currently, it is Cash or Pay ID only. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Q: How long do (mermaid/extension) braids last?
A: Most of my clients can keep them for over a week, some can keep them for two weeks, or even more. But it also depends on the hair type. Thick short hair in straight/blunt cut will stick out of the extensions a lot faster than thin and long hair. Also some extensions are fluffier than others, which will hold your hair in longer than the silkier extensions. In general, the smaller the braids, the longer they last. So if you have very thick hair, you might want to consider having four braids instead of two (note: pic in gallery).
Q: What colour extensions do you have?
A: I have over 40 colours: varieties of single colours and ombre. If you are after one particular colour, please note in your booking. I will let you know if I don't have it.
Some kids take a while to decide the colour they want especially when they see so many choices. Please arrive earlier to allow for this.
Q: Can you braid curly hair?
A: I've had some experience with curly hair, but if you have curly hair, I recommend to blow dry your hair straight after washing prior to your appointment. This will help achieve better results. Please write a note on your booking if you are coming with curly hair, as I will need to allow more time. And an extra charge may apply.
Q: Do you braid Afro hair?
A: I do not have any experience with Afro hair. At this stage, I do not feel comfortable accepting bookings for something I have no experience for.
Q: Do you do hair for weddings?
A: Hair braiding is something I do as a hobby. Doing weddings is too much of a pressure for me at the moment.
Q: What is the best way to contact you?
A: I won't be able to answer my phone when I am with a client, so text messages (not FB Messenger) are the best. I try to check my phone in between clients.
